In November 2026, classical Japanese Noh theater comes to Munich’s historic Cuvilliés-Theater. Over two evenings, experience the profound "Aesthetics of Stillness" through breathtaking costumes, masks, and centuries-old traditions from Kyoto.
The program explores the inner world of the human psyche, featuring masterpieces based on the Japanese literary classic "The Tale of Genji"—the story of Lady Rokujō. These timeless works continue to resonate with the modern soul today.
ドイツ屈指の歴史を誇るミュンヘン・キュビリエ劇場にて能公演を開催いたします。
上演される能「野宮」「葵上」は、日本文学の至宝『源氏物語』を題材とし、六条御息所の物語を鮮やかに描き出します。人間の内面を抉り出す最も能らしい能として、今も現代人の感性に訴えかける作品です。
日本で数世紀にわたり受け継がれてきた伝統芸能と、旧バイエルン王国宮廷劇場の建築美の融合をどうぞお楽しみください。

Tea Ceremony Workshop
In conjunction with the performances, a special tea ceremony workshop will be held on November 8. This exclusive experience is available only to those who purchase a Workshop Combo-Ticket, which is sold only for select seat categories.
(Please note: This workshop is not included with tickets for the November 7 performance.)
The venue is the authentic tea house "Kanshoan," nestled within the English Garden (Englischer Garten). We invite you into the world of Chanoyu (the Way of Tea), guided by Sōchi Wakebayashi. In collaboration with the Munich Association of Chado Urasenke Tankokai, we will explore the spirit of tea. Participants will also enjoy premium matcha from Kyoto and traditional Japanese sweets specially crafted for this event.

また、本公演に合わせ、11月8日には特別な茶道ワークショップを開催いたします。本ワークショップは、一部の座席カテゴリのみで販売されるセットチケットのご購入者様限定でご参加いただけます。（11月7日分のチケットには含まれません）
会場は、英国庭園内に佇む本格的な茶室「閑松庵」。茶道裏千家教授・分林宗智のナビゲージョンにて茶の湯の世界へ誘います。茶道裏千家淡交会ミュンヘン協会の協力により、茶の湯の精神を紐解くとともに、京都の抹茶と、本イベントのために特別に作られた和菓子をお楽しみいただけます。
